Panelists
Rob Lawrence is the President the Academy of International Mobile Healthcare Integration (AIMHI) and has previously been a board member and chair of several committees at the American Ambulance Association. Rob writes and broadcasts for EMS1 and Police1 and is a member of the EMS1 and EMS World Magazine Editorial Advisory Boards and a reviewer for the International Journal of Paramedicine (IJOP). Rob is also the director of strategic implementation for PRO EMS and its educational arm, Prodigy EMS, in Cambridge, MA. He previously served for 10 years as the COO of the Richmond Ambulance Authority (Virginia). He is also the Part Time Executive Director of the California Ambulance Association. Rob’s first career was as an officer in the British Army and Rob is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Additionally, he served as COO for Paramedics Plus in Alameda County, California.
Adam Paluka, APR, is the Chief Public Affairs Officer for EMSA in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Adam leads EMSA’s communications, media relations, and marketing efforts. He joined EMSA in 2013 after spending six years as a broadcast journalist and has played a key role in shaping EMSA’s public image. Adam is a recognized leader in the PR community, earning multiple honors including PRSA Tulsa Professional of the Year. He’s passionate about sharing EMSA’s story and highlighting the care its medics provide daily.
Mark Tenia is the Public Relations/Media Manager for the Richmond Ambulance Authority (RAA), a world-class mobile integrated healthcare service. He is responsible for promoting RAA’s brand as a leader in the international EMS industry. Prior to joining RAA, he worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for over a decade covering national stories throughout his career.
Matt Zavadsky is an EMS/Mobile Healthcare Consultant with PWW | Advisory Group (PWW|AG), focusing on assisting local communities, EMS agencies, fire departments, ambulance services, hospitals and other healthcare organizations evaluating and improving their EMS and mobile healthcare delivery systems. Prior to joining PWW|AG, he served as the Chief Transformation Officer for the Metropolitan Area EMS Authority (MedStar Mobile Healthcare) in North Texas where he served as Public Information Officer. While in this role, Matt was awarded a prestigious Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Professional of the Year in 2023.
